About Me
Hi there, my name is Jenna Yoo, and I am currently employed as a UX Designer at AbbVie. I perform a variety of design tasks such as curating a design system for our internal web application, designing and distributing e-newsletters and handing off new web app feature prototypes.
My passion for process and design has been evident since childhood when I meticulously crafted a complete Lego airport, including every step from bag check to boarding. This love for building from scratch extended to various forms of art as I grew older, from drawing to painting to ceramics. During my senior year of college, I discovered UX and was fascinated by its process of problem solving and integrating user perspective in design. UX seamlessly combines my passions for user perspective, technology, process and design.
I aspire to be a Senior UX Designer working on innovative mobile applications or design systems. I have a wide skill set and known for being a quick learner, so no design task is too small for me.
Outside of design, I have many hobbies I pursue. I love cooking a great meal and using my knife skills, hiking national parks with friends and/or family and embracing my middle school self by reading self-help books and running really fast.
